Jamoma

The Pure Data implementation of Jamoma, a modular framework for structuring and controlling real-time media-processing systems. It ports the Jamoma library to Pd and includes data, audio, communication, automation, and signal-processing facilities.

Objects

  • j.cue j.cue creates named cues that store the state of modified parameters in a j.model, and can recall or update those saved parameter values.
  • j.in j.in mySignal appears intended to provide a named Jamoma input associated with data/in.mySignal, paired with j.out mySignal and data/out.mySignal.
  • j.init j.init is demonstrated alongside j.model at both root and sublevel scopes, with output monitored by print ROOT and print SUBLEVEL.
  • j.loader The supplied help-patch evidence only identifies j.loader as a Jamoma object.
  • j.map j.map maps incoming values according to a selectable mapping function, such as exponential or tanh.
  • j.message The available patch evidence only shows j.message instantiated with the argument foo.
  • j.message_array The available patch evidence only shows an instance of j.message_array with the argument foo.[4].
  • j.minuit_device The provided evidence identifies j.minuit_device but does not include the contents of its help patch.
  • j.model j.model declares a patcher as a Jamoma model and acts as its central controller, organizing its parameters and messages.
  • j.namespace The help patch does not provide enough information to describe j.namespace.
  • j.note The help patch provides insufficient information to describe j.note: it contains only “TODO” and references j.node.
  • j.out j.out mySignal provides a named output for mySignal, sending its value to an outlet and making it available through j.receive data/out.mySignal.
  • j.parameter j.parameter defines a named parameter for a j.model, with configurable data types, ranges, clipping, mapping, ramps, and priority.
  • j.parameter_array j.parameter_array defines a numbered collection of Jamoma parameters from an indexed address such as track.[4]/gain, with attributes such as @type and @description.
  • j.receive The help patch pairs j.receive apple and j.receive banana with correspondingly named j.parameter objects, suggesting that j.receive is intended to receive values associated with a named parameter.
  • j.remote j.remote provides remote access to a Jamoma parameter by name or address, such as apple, bird, or /demo/bird.
  • j.return The supplied evidence only shows an instance of j.return foo.
  • j.return_array The help patch does not provide enough information to describe j.return_array reliably.
  • j.score The help patch content for j.score was not provided, so there is insufficient evidence to describe what it does or how it is used.
  • j.send j.send is intended to send a value remotely to a j.parameter or another model node.
  • j.ui The help patch provides no documentation beyond naming the j.ui object.
