Objects

  • attract1 attract1 generates points for a non-continuous attractor and is intended for finding a random attractor set.
  • base The help patch identifies base as a “Base Attractor” in the chaos package and notes that the attractor is not continuous.
  • base3 base3 implements the Base Attractor, which the help patch notes is not continuous.
  • dejong dejong generates points for a De Jong attractor, intended for finding a random attractor set; the help patch notes that this attractor is not continuous.
  • fractal-tools The help patch presents fractal-tools as a tool associated with a discontinuous base attractor example using base3, alongside search-tools and examples/readme-fractals.
  • gingerbreadman gingerbreadman generates the X and Y values of the discontinuous Gingerbreadman attractor, a parameterless fractal equation.

  • hopalong hopalong generates X and Y values for a Hopalong attractor, which the help patch notes is not continuous.
  • ikeda ikeda generates output from the non-continuous Ikeda attractor for use in chaotic or fractal processes.
  • latoocarfian latoocarfian generates values from the non-continuous Latoocarfian attractor described by Cliff Pickover.
  • latoomutalpha latoomutalpha generates the non-continuous Latoocarfian attractor described by Cliff Pickover, producing X and Y values when driven by a metro.

  • lorenz lorenz calculates the Lorenz attractor and outputs its X, Y, and Z values.
  • lotkavolterra lotkavolterra generates the non-continuous Lotka–Volterra attractor described as being from Cliff Pickover.
  • martin martin generates values for a non-continuous Martin attractor, a fractal that can exhibit chaotic behavior depending on its A parameter.
  • martin-test martin-test is a test patch for the discontinuous martin (Latoocarfian) attractor, exercising parameter changes, searches, state display, resets, and Lyapunov analysis.
  • mlogistic The help patch identifies mlogistic as a one-variable object and references examples/readme-fractals.
  • pickover pickover calculates a Pickover attractor, producing X, Y, and Z output values when triggered, for use in chaotic or fractal systems.
  • popcorn popcorn implements Cliff Pickover’s discontinuous Popcorn attractor, producing X and Y values for fractal exploration.
  • popcorn-test popcorn-test is a help/test patch for the popcorn chaotic attractor, driving it periodically and printing its X/Y output.
  • quadruptwo quadruptwo implements the non-continuous Quadruptwo attractor from Cliff Pickover for generating a fractal.
  • quaruptwo-test quadruptwo implements the non-continuous QuadrupTwo attractor and can be driven periodically, as shown with a 50 ms metro.
