Objects

  • template The provided help-patch evidence is insufficient to determine what _template_ does or its intended purpose.
  • buttongate buttongate is a simple gate controlled by a HID button, passing incoming bangs when the gate is controlled by button presses and releases.
  • deg2hid deg2hid converts degree values to the numeric range used by hid.
  • hid hid reads events from human-interface devices such as mice, keyboards, joysticks, and gamepads, outputting each event as event_type event_code value.
  • hid2deg hid2deg converts floating-point numbers from the normalized hid range into degrees.
  • hid2rad hid2rad converts control values from the hid range into radians.
  • hid_average hid_average smooths a stream of numbers using weighted averaging, producing a float output from float input.
  • hid_centered hid_centered converts the standard 0-to-1 output format of hid to a centered range beginning at -1.
  • hid_cube hid_cube maps a float input in the hid output range of 0 to 1 onto a cubic curve, producing a float output.
  • hid_cuberoot hid_cuberoot maps a float input range to a cube-root curve, converting hid values in the 0-to-1 range.
  • hid_exp hid_exp maps a float input range to an exponential curve, intended for control-value conversion such as reshaping the normalized 0-to-1 output of hid.
  • hid_graph hid_graph is a GUI abstraction for drawing an arbitrary curve, intended for control conversion.
  • hid_invert hid_invert inverts a stream of numbers, providing a control abstraction for reversing numeric input values.
  • hid_log hid_log maps a float input in the 0–1 range to a logarithmic curve, producing a float output.
  • hid_lowpass hid_lowpass smooths a stream of numbers by converting it to an audio signal and filtering it.
  • hid_menu The help patch identifies an object named hid_menu in the hid package but provides no explanation of its behavior, purpose, or usage.
  • hid_one2four hid_one2four is a control abstraction that accepts a float and provides four float outlets.
  • hid_one2three hid_one2three is a control abstraction that performs a simple one-to-three mapping.
  • hid_one2two hid_one2two is a control abstraction that performs a simple one-to-two mapping, taking a float input and producing two float outputs.
  • hid_polar hid_polar converts Cartesian x/y coordinates to polar coordinates, outputting a radius and an angle.
  • hid_rel2abs hid_rel2abs converts relative axis data into an absolute position and outputs it as a float.
