iemnet

Objects

  • tcpclient tcpclient opens a TCP socket to connect to a server by IP address or hostname and port, then sends and receives bytes.
  • tcpreceive tcpreceive receives bytes over a TCP connection, providing a way to accept incoming network data.
  • tcpsend tcpsend sends raw bytes over a TCP connection.
  • tcpserver tcpserver listens for client connections on a TCP port specified by its argument and outputs received messages as a stream of bytes.
  • udpclient udpclient creates a bidirectional UDP connection to a server, sending and receiving messages; received messages are output as a stream of bytes.
  • udpreceive udpreceive receives bytes over a UDP connection while listening on a specified port, such as 9997.
