Objects

  • ossia ossia manages the patch’s general tree-based device, whose namespace consists of nodes declared with objects such as ossia.model and ossia.param.
  • ossia.attribute ossia.attribute connects to one or more parameters, similarly to ossia.parameter, and is used to change or retrieve their attribute values.
  • ossia.client ossia.client connects a Pd patch to a remote OSSIA device, making its parameters accessible through objects such as ø.remote.
  • ossia.device ossia.device creates a local device that registers OSSIA objects in the same namespace, including parameters inside models and subpatches.
  • ossia.logger ossia.logger sends log messages at several severity levels, including trace, debug, info, warning, error, and critical.
  • ossia.model ossia.model creates a namespace node that groups several ossia.param objects, helping build complex, nested address hierarchies that reflect the patcher hierarchy.
  • ossia.param ossia.param defines an OSSIA parameter, with a required parameter name, and provides a simple way to expose and exchange its current value.
  • ossia.remote ossia.remote monitors and remote-controls parameters declared with ossia.param and ossia.model, including parameters on other OSSIA devices.
  • ossia.view ossia.view connects a series of ossia.remote objects in a patch to a named ossia.model, and views can be nested to follow a model hierarchy.
